
88. That is the number of films I saw in theaters in 2016. Although that number was down from 2015, being a full time college student, traveling over the summer and working a side job took up most of my free time. 2016 was a rough year for a lot of people…including Hollywood. With only a couple exceptions, it wasn’t until November when the high quality films started coming out. The other ten months of the year produced a lot of garbage, making 2016 a mostly weak year for film…until the last two months swooped in to save the year.
Let’s take a look back at the best and worst films of 2016 so you know which films you still need to check out and which films you should avoid.
