hollars

7.5/10 A smaller, independent movie directed by John Krasinski that shows some solid restraint from him as a director. I liked how it blended the humor with the sorrow, without letting one overwhelm the other. You feel emotionally invested in the characters, the cast is strong and it has a great indie soundtrack to it. Not the most memorable movie and I wish we had a little more character development with certain characters but I was pleasantly surprised by how good this movie was. Give it a shot when it comes out on DVD.
