8/10 What a pleasant surprise this film was. Richard Linklater continues to impress. This time he takes a cast of totally unknowns and brings out a compelling, relatable film with the best soundtrack of the year thus far. The cast was the stand out for me because I have never seen any of these actors yet they seem like they have been acting for years. This film was funny, had heart and made you long for the nostalgic days of yester years. Probably appeals more to men than women but I was sure glad I saw this movie. Check it out.
